The Wear With Care Philosophy

ChrisCross Clothing Company was conceived when a friend of mine was in a devastating motorcycle accident and was left a quadriplegic. While Tom lay in intensive care for six months, his wife Kim, his family and friends sat vigil as he cheated death over and over again.
On the weekends, Kim and her family would come home and hold fundraisers - BBQs, garage sales, anything to help with the growing medical expenses and the daily costs of raising a family.
In one split second, their world was shattered - physically, emotionally, and financially.
I decided that maybe I could do something that would help in some small way. I love fashion and graphic design, so I decided to combine the two and create something that could perpetually give to help the family.

As I would tell their story to people, I realized that everyone has a story in their own life; a child with diabetes, a sister with breast cancer, a passion for neglected animals. Why couldn't I create something that could give to multiple causes and let people choose the recipient? So there you have it!

As people will inevitably ask (trust me on this), "What does the X mean?", you can explain that 10% of the net proceeds went to the charitable organization YOU chose. Maybe others will get inspired to
"Wear with Care"
and together we can donate to the causes that we each believe in.

How it Works

When you purchase an item on our website, you can choose a charity that you would like a portion of the proceeds to go toward. If you have a specific charity in mind that we don't have listed, choose the “My Choice” selection and we’ll email you to get the name. I’m choosing tomsrecovery.com, but you can choose a cause that means something to you. Who knows, maybe together we can multiply giving and make a difference in the world.
